A good shelf cleaning

Chris Burns must be one of these people that try to catch and to keep everything. There are many treasures among his things. I think he has a point. Keep them and later you can be proud of every single piece. Lost things become the best things. Continue for more impressions of his beloved "junk".

Quote of the year

MBFW Berlin vs Bread & Butter. Well, atleast they respect each other..... not. Karl-Heinz Müller, the german Don King when it comes down to fashion issues, has it's very own opinion on his fellows from the infamous IMG, the people behind the Berlin Fashionweek. Our witness: Welt.de
Unfortunately the interview is only available in german that's why I just translated my quote of the year:

Let's face it, it's a tent. We at Bread & Butter have a tent like this too, but we did put our toilets in it.

Bruce Barone

NYC in the 1970s shot by Bruce Barone. Cities like New York are like mirrors to our society. New York changed since then and so did the society. Sure that it doesn't fit exactly, but these photos represent lost memories even when we do focus on things like the fashion or the music from the 1970s it is impossible for us to go back and to feel what happened and to feel what they felt. These feelings will be lost by the time that this generation isn't anymore, well it's allways like that with every generation's feelings. But atleast we can try to get it by photographs! Enjoy.

Art Mosh Paris - A film by Charlie Inman

Give them a roof

This is what a blueprint of a homeless' home looks like. The idea of approaching a topic like this with street art components and arrangement is fresh to me even if it's from the last decade. The concept above is from 2005 invented by the famous TBWA Paris. Now in 2010 the Altraforma Agency nearly copied this idea for the city of Barcelona. Doubled or not it is for a good cause. I'm sure that this is an eye catcher while walking down the streets of your city. Continue to see what the copied one looks like.

Back then when Apple was nothing and became everything

This is just a little look behind. 1997 Apple was saved. Some say Steve Jobs saved them, some say this brilliant tv commercial did. And others say these two together did mark the turning point. Think different! via

Something is missing

Sometimes it's obvious what is missing, sometimes not. For those of you who don't know "let it be" of the beatles: 1. buy it 2. take a look at the last picture. This picture book was created by Surplus Wonder in collaboration with Magnhild Distington. They took something out of its place to create a whole new together.
